Built Off Faith LLC is a premium faith based brand based in Atlanta, Georgia. Built Off Faith was founded in 2019 by Melvin Ezeokonkwo and officially launched in 2021 with the vision to use the platform that training provides to share the gospel and inspire people to not only be active physically, but in their faith as well.
ABOUT ME
I am a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach by way of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I am also a board-certified Athletic Trainer who specializes in injury and illness prevention, immediate and emergency care, and therapeutic interventions. I believe in educating individuals who are serious about making a lifestyle change. My goal for every individual that seeks my services is to move better, be stronger, prevent injuries, all while building confidence.
My passion for this started back in high school. I've always been heavily involved in sports which included me playing football and competing in track and field. I was fortunate enough to get a scholarship to compete in track and field collegiately. After my final season competing, I had a strong desire to stay in the world of sports science. I immediately knew that I wanted to coach individuals seeking help with their fitness. It brings me joy to know that I have impacted so many lives already not just with fitness but by using my platform to bring light to something bigger than me. My desire is for people to see Christ through me. I'm just a vessel.
I absolutely love what I do, and I am so grateful that God has given me this gift to touch so many lives. I'm going to continue doing this because I now know that this is the reason why I've been placed on this earth. MY JOURNEY
The year 2018 was my last year competing at the collegiate level in Track and Field at Clayton State University. If you’ve ever ran track you know that you need to be pretty lean in order to move down the track efficiently. I was always content and confident with the way I looked to be honest. However, I always told myself that when I got done competing I wanted to work on putting some size on me (lean mass that is). I started to be more consistent with my training sessions and changed up my nutrition to assist me and ended up putting on about 35lbs of lean mass within a few months.
Your overall health will change depending on how “CONSISTENT” you can be! Whatever your goal may be, you have to realize that there are no shortcuts to this! You get out what you put in! We all have to start somewhere! You don’t have to train insane every single day (because that’s crazy) but you do need a routine schedule. I know for some of you it may be hard to even begin. However, remember to start with small changes. This can be as simple as just eating healthier options whenever you go out. Be patient and challenge yourself.....eventually it’ll become a lifestyle ! Lets go fam!!
